Membership
Membership in this congregation shall be open to any born-again person who shows an earnest desire to lead a Christian life (1 John 1:7)
And shall be received in the following manner 1-public profession of faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9) 2-Baptism into the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:13) 3-Acknowledge that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God.
A member is someone who fully subscribes to the statement of faith, which obligates them to attend worship service regularly, either in-person or online, to commune regularly, and contribute to the support of the church.
Must agree to meet with the pastor (in person or via other method) to discuss membership in the church. A membership familiarity class that covers membership expectations as specified above.
Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is God's revelation; of Himself to all the world in the Person of Jesus Christ, but that God's revelation will not be fully known without the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the life of someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (1 Cor. 2:10-14)
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, as given in the original languages, are the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and are the supreme and final authority over all creation. (John 1:1-5)
We believe in one Triune God existing in the three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7)
We believe that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, self-existent, eternal, the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col 2:9) born of the Virgin Mary(Matthew 1:23) lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15) so that He might reveal God to all people and give His life as a ransom for all to redeem sinful man through His shed blood (John 3:16)
We believe there is only one way to salvation, and that is through Jesus Christ (John 14:16). We believe that one's salvation cannot be earned through our works (Titus 3:5). It is a gift from God and must be received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross (Eph. 2:8-9)
We believe that all Christian believers are members of the Body of Christ, the one true Church universal, through spiritual unity among Christians, by the love of one another, and faith in the Holy Spirit, who gives all believers spiritual gifts to serve His Church (1 Cor. 12:1-31)
